The hotel is situated in a fine district in Lower Quebec, with a convenient location just in front of the central railway station. The rooms are cozy and old-fashioned, suitable for families although lacking a TV. The service is a mixed bag with friendly and welcoming staff but some initial issues. Dining offers a fabulous experience with a variety of locally sourced dishes, while the facilities are well-maintained. Overall, a charming stay with a few quirks to consider.

Rooms

The rooms had a vintage 'music club' vibe, a bit untidy with equipment visible, but they were suitable for families.

Staying at this hotel was like stepping into your grandmother's old bedroom—clean with neat decor appropriate to the vintage of the building but a bit on the small side. The location was ideal, within walking distance of everything, and the dining experience was fabolous, serving a delightful selection in a wonderful bistro setting. However, the service left a lot to be desired, with the staff treating me like I was a bit dumb despite their outstanding friendliness.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were rustic but very clean and had a cozy feel that was perfect for experiencing Old Quebec City. The friendly and capable service added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The location was convenient, close to the city walls and within easy reach of everything I wanted to see. The dining experience, though consistent, was enjoyable. However, some areas needed maintenance and updates, impacting the overall impression.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms had old-style furniture that added to the authentic Old Quebec City experience. They were unexpectedly large and had many extras for cooking. Despite the lack of a TV, the room was cozy and equipped with both an air conditioner and a radiator for personalized comfort. The only downside was that some areas felt a bit rustic.
Service
9.0
The service was friendly and very helpful, making me feel welcome and well-assisted during my stay. The slightly casual attire of the staff did not diminish their warmth and attentiveness.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was pretty good, near the bus station and close to the city walls, providing easy access to various attractions in Old Quebec City. The proximity to the old city and guidance on activities added to the convenience of the stay. However, the maintenance issues in some areas affected the overall appeal.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience, while consistent, offered good options for meals. The dishes were satisfying, though some more variety would have been appreciated, especially for longer stays.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were decent, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. However, some areas required attention and updates to enhance the overall guest experience.
